love lockdown
i love the vmas this year was lacking alot but someone still brought it down the best way they know how ...musically...this man is a musicians despite some of u might not like his music but u do have to recognize that he is making music. thats it i dont want to hear anymore talk on wats music and wats not cusz who are we to say wat is or wat isnt anything wtf. but sometimes its rediculous because u see a peacock and ur not gonna say its a turtle right so i get both sides of the argument. now this is a preview of this weeks blog deconstruction so enjoy. now i want to get to this pitch correction deal briefly while not making the whole post about it. i want u to understand what i believe kanye is doing for the sub sub genre in modern hip hop. so t-pain is the usual suspect or habitual offender of the sorts of this music ...the t-pain voice effect is the term we are using it ...it used to be called the cher effect with the song believe. ok i belive that kanye is in a higher state of understanding the whole situation than we are after all he is the one that said souljah boy doesnt suck with a straight face. he understands and i get it. he sees ppl doing the voice effect and doesnt sayy wtf is all these artist singing with the same t-pain voice i kno it sells records but wtf. no he sees it and says ooo this is like an homage to all the 80's experiments with music like chromeo or daft punk ...i like it so this is the reason his recent songs sound like this ergo put on for my city and swagger like us now love lockdown. also this song is like an electro ballad with kanye's twist. and i dont just say that because i ride kanye to hell and back on his member... but i say it cusz i think that way, plus lets remember that kanye switches his style a smidge every cd...how he feels for that year is what he conveys on his music for example he was into that whole sample shit for his first cd and by his second he didnt want to be known for that so he toned it down. by his third its a whole pivot from his first...dont get me wrong..his flow is the same but his music style isnt 2 very distintive and different things. im loving this balad regardless...fuck what u heard. i have a bunch of more post this friday please tune in

that song was awesome and the performance was on pointtt! ..like always. ahhh i love yeezyy. who doesnt tho right? hes oh dee aht everything he does. and he works so harddd to get where hes aht, always perfecting his music. you know when he first started out they told him his beats were amazing buht his rapping was not quite right.. look aht him now his lyrics are oh dee. hes improved so much as lyricist! and ontop of that hes improved as a producer. bottom line hes an all around idol and role-model for so many ppl. pretty much the renaissance man of the 21st century. if you dont like kanye west your obviously racsist..
