Lupe killed it on this track man. this track directly corresponds to the video above. he hits it on da dot. For you ppl who didnt get the message of the song or thought it was wack cuz u cudn't understand it thn im sry Lupe didnt dumb it down for ya'll dudes. but 4 the people who jus didn't feel like listenin to it thn ill explain the message of the song. Threw out the whole song his tryin to say ppl are fukin dumb if they dont like his shyt, and tht he's a lyrical rapper and if u dont like his shyt he's sry ur 2 dumb not 2 be able 2 unda stand. Lupe is one of the best rappers alive or dead his shyt iz so great and he's jus sayin he's the way he iz and even though sum ppl will hate on him sayin he's wack, itz jus cuz he's not doin wat all these otha rappers are doin coming out wit dumb shit like.. 50 cent. he aint in it for the money he's in it for the art of hip-hop and he aint gonna dumb down his lyrics so ppl can buy his album and he can be famous for trash. in the first verse of "dumb it down" he talks about how ppl jus be blinded and dont even listen to the words of a song anymore. so instead of dumbin down, lupe is gonna steer clear of the (minstrel) show. he also sayz he has no competition from his peers cuz his real and sincere. and pretty much he aint DUMBIN DOWN SHIT.
